Celebrating change at Milestone

1st December 2025 was Milestone’s 30th anniversary, marking three decades of growth, award-winning work, becoming an Employee Ownership Trust and gaining B Corp status.

Now, in 2026, we are proud to announce changes to Milestone’s management that have been several years in the planning.

Founding directors Ian Sutton, Jay Roff and Peter Wilkinson are moving into a more consultative role, handing over day-to-day leadership to the next generation of the Milestone team.

Jen Gleadow, Howard Angus and Richard Vockins have all been working together as part of the fabric of Milestone for over 10 years. They share the same values, client focus and broad industry experience and bring new energy and perspectives to lead the agency into its next chapter.

Jen Gleadow – Managing Director

Jen joined Milestone in 2010 and has led account teams, people management and operations across the business. Over the last two years she has worked closely with Jay helping prepare Milestone for its next chapter.

Drawing on formal study in sociology, organisational psychology and coaching, alongside many years of client and marketing experience, Jen brings a practical and interdisciplinary approach to leadership. Her focus is on building an agency that reflects the strengths of its people and delivers meaningful results for clients.

Howard Angus – Client Services & Strategy Director

Howard joined Milestone in 2014 and leads strategy and client services across the agency. With more than 30 years’ experience in marketing and brand, including earlier work in Australia and Asia, he has advised organisations across manufacturing, finance and technology on brand development, campaigns and moments of change.

He works closely with clients and partners to uncover insight and turn strategy into practical action.

Richard Vockins – Creative Director

Rich joined Milestone in 2014 and leads creative across the agency, overseeing studio output and guiding our design teams. Before joining Milestone, he worked freelance with major brands and leading UK agencies, building experience across many sectors.

He combines that breadth with Milestone’s deep knowledge of manufacturing, finance and construction to deliver creative work that is clear, well-crafted and effective.

Together, the new leadership team combines strategic thinking, strong client partnership and creative excellence to guide Milestone through its next phase.

These leadership changes are an essential step in Milestone’s evolution and continued success. Our ambition is to be the strategic creative partner of choice for organisations experiencing moments of change, whether that’s brand transformation, growth, integrating new businesses or a cultural shift.
